Recorded at Anla’s apartment in Buenos Aires in December 2009 ‘Bronze Age Subway’ is a mystic dreamy trip submerged in a warm bath of tape hiss. Listening to this sort of music makes your thoughts run sideways. Presented very much as it happened in the room with minimal editing it is full of surprises, chugging guitars and droning melodic organs work against each other to be finally married in some bright blaze of mystic glory; tin can violin and pounding drums attain odd tidal epiphanies.
