Sprung from his performance in Athens -part of the winter/spring European tour- this recording best describes the case for current modular synthesis. Moissonnier’s sound sculpture has a psychedelic, rhythmic underlying pattern similar to early electronic compositions. Through these 24 minutes we come across layers of slowly interleaving schematic noise & processed field recording music tracks. Not your typical noise record, in the sense that somewhere in there, the human element is present and controlling the machine.
